Decorate your furniture with fairy lights or a classy candle holder, or arrange your own decorative display tray. Whether you use snow globes, a green wreath or the kids’ home-made stars – individual touches are sure to bring even more warmth to your home. And don’t forget to decorate your doors and windows too: these act as a calling card for the rest of your home, making your guests even more excited to see the festive decorations inside!
3. Play with nature
Bring some wintry elements of nature into your own four walls with sprigs of fir and pine cones. Natural materials such as wreaths and garlands, or other plant arrangements with fir branches, instantly create a cosy atmosphere in your home, while giving the room a wonderful natural fragrance. Add a couple of special touches here and there, such as shiny and sparkly baubles or other decorative elements, and voilà – you’ve created an eye-catching display in just a few easy steps.
