Valais: Location and surroundings of this property

Eischoll is located at 1220 meters above the sea level on the left bank of the river Rhone, on a sunny mountain terrace. This typical Valais village is accessible throughout the year by cable car from Raron / Turtig and with the car from Turtmann or Visp. There is a good connection with the Sport bus to the neighbouring communities. Due to the convenient central location it’s possible to reach many well-known places in Valais such as Zermatt, Verbier, Montana, Saas-Fee, Leukerbad or Bettmeralp within an hour. The intimate ski resort of Eischoll with a total of 15 km slopes offers fun for all winter sports enthusiasts. The slopes are not overcrowded, perfect for pure ski pleasure. One slope leads directly into the into the village and is accessible throughout the winter season. In 2017, the new four-man chairlift has been installed with free parking next to the valley station. The 3-km toboggan run, which leads to the village, offers additional amusement. During the winter, hiking and snowshoe tours are very popular, whether during the day or on a beautiful full moon night; it is always a unique experience to hike through the snowy forests. The summer in Eischoll has a lot to offer, too. Wonderful hikes passing alongside rustic barns through fragrant forests and across little streams to Ergisch, the starting point for more spectacular tours in the Turtmanntal region. The fascinating view of the Bietschhorn and the southern Lötschberg ramp as well as the sunny location make the village a worthwhile holiday destination throughout the year and a perfect starting point for day trips to explore the Valais. In addition to the extensive network of well-marked trails there is also a variety of Mountain Bike and hiking-trails.
