Essertines-sur-Rolle is a village located 7 minutes from Rolle, 15 minutes from Nyon and 2 minutes from Signal-de-Bougy. The village is served by two stops of the Rolle-Gimel bus line (line 840).

The children of Essertines attend the village school, which is only a 3-minute walk away, for kindergarten and the first years of primary school (1 to 4) before joining the Gimel-Etoy school group. From the 9th grade on, all Essertines students go to Rolle. Transportation is by school bus.
