Engel & Völkers Wohnen Schweiz have surpassed the CHF 40 million sales mark for the first time since their foundation over 15 years ago. Compared to the previous year, this increase in sales corresponds to around 23 percent. “The successful implementation of the Engel & Völkers system in the shops Ascona, Bülach, Pfäffikon and Zug, the very pleasing development in east Switzerland and in Thalwil by Lake Zurich as well as the remarkable sales increases in various other residential property shops such as Gstaad, Wallisellen, Basel City and Zürichberg have contributed to this sales record of over CHF 40 million, among other things,” says Thomas Frigo, Managing Director of Engel & Völkers Wohnen Schweiz.
Engel & Völkers Ascona is at the top of the best shops in 2019. Along with her team, licence partner Claudia Tresch was able to double the sales compared to the previous year. “The continually high demand of international, mainly German, customers, as well as the extensive experience and brand awareness on the market, and the consistent expansion of the team have essentially contributed to this sales success,” explains Claudia Tresch. In second place is Engel & Völkers Gstaad followed by the shop in Zug.
In 2020 as well, Engel & Völkers Wohnen Schweiz will continue its expansion. On one hand by awarding more free licences, but also through further growth within the existing licence areas. In the meantime, the company is represented across all of Switzerland and in Liechtenstein at around 50 locations with 220 persons working under the brand. “The market will also be contested and demanding in the coming year. It is all the more important for us to continue to support our customers as professional partners, and impart our competence regarding properties,” says Thomas Frigo.
