The unique design home is located at 513 Grand Boulevard, just a stone’s throw from Venice Beach. Minimalist elegance, geometric shapes and open plan spaces set the design of this avant-garde property apart. The steel-framed building consists of two separate towers connected by an upper-level bridge. The vertical structure draws air up and out through openings in the roof for permanent ventilation, eliminating the need for central air-conditioning. Spanning approx. 234 square metres in total, the three-level residence boasts an expansive living and dining area, as well as four bedrooms, three-and-a-half baths, and a roof terrace. Large floor-to-ceiling windows ensure light-filled interiors and a sense of airy spaciousness throughout. There is a beautiful juxtaposition of materials such as concrete, wood and stark metals in all rooms. The centrepiece of this home is the permanent wooden art installation that starts on the floor and climbs up the staircase to the top level. At the moment, “Tectonic House” will be an experiential gallery curated by Idea Parade for various artists to explore creative projects.
