Kai Enders, Member of the Board of Engel & Völkers AG, has been unanimously voted in at the annual general meeting of the “European Franchise Federation” (EFF) in Paris to the position of Vice Chairman of the association. The EFF provides a common platform for national franchise organisations throughout the whole of Europe and Turkey, and represents the interests of franchise companies at an international level. To this end, the EFF is in constant talks with Brussels institutions such as the EU Parliament and the EU Commission, and reviews, for example, whether the concerns of its members have been taken into consideration in new legislation. Kai Enders is already Member of the Board of the German Franchise Association, which is also a member of the EFF.
In his new role, Kai Enders is responsible, amongst other things, for the establishment of a platform for franchise systems operating on an EU scale, which will aim to bring about an exchange of experiences. Kai Enders commented as follows: “As a globally operational and continuously expanding company, it is very important for Engel & Völkers to be familiar with the requirements for franchise systems in other countries and to actively become involved through the EFF. I look forward to encouraging an intensive exchange of know-how and building on this know-how in a targeted way in my new position. Together with other members, we want to make it easier for companies to enter into the franchising sector on an international scale.”
