Troja: Location and surroundings of this property

Troja was a former village and a municipality, but now is a part of the cadastral district of Prague. It is located on the right bank on Vltava and is adjacent to the Bohnická platform hill in the northern Prague. The name of the village Troja was originally used only for Troja Castle which was build in the years 1683-1692, the village got its name in the 18th century. In the lower part of Troja is the Troja Castle, Prague Zoo, and Prague Botanical Garden. In the northern part of Troja is the natural monument Large Rock. Over the top of the vineyards and above the Troja Chateau is the focal point of Troja - Baroque Chapel of St. Claire.
