Stodůlky: Location and surroundings of this property

The historical Stodůlky dates back to 1159 when the village belonged to the Johan’s Property. Stodůlky annexed to the capital city in 1979. Stodůlky is a cadastral territory of West Prague and comprises of the old historic quarter and new quarters with apartment buildings and villas. Today, Stodůlky’s main recreational attraction is the shallow part of the Prokopský Creek, where man-made water reservoir was made in the 80’s. Stodůlky are one of the highest altitude places in Prague, and the Kopanina summit (390 m) is very close by. Stodůlky offer several elementary schools, specialty schools, business academies, several post offices, two healthcare facilities, and supermarkets. The city hall ensures outdoor cultural activities throughout the year. Stodůlky also offers yearly theater, rock, and folk performances by KD Mlejn in Kovářově street, and ample sport opportunities, as well as natural walks in the central park located in the heart of Stodůlky or Prokopské údolí just a further distance away.
