Bubeneč became part of Prague in 1922 and it is situated on the left bank of the Vltava River. After the creation of Czechoslovakia started an extensive housing construction with a participation of leading Czech architects. At the beginning of the twentieth century was founded a remarkable residential colony around the street “Na Zátorce” - villas by architects J. Koula, Suchard, Mašek and many others. Bubeneč is located near the city centre. The great accessibility makes it popular residential location. Number of embassies and two international schools (British International School, o.p.s., Park Lane International School, a.s., Riverside, o.p.s.) increase the prestige of this location. The easy access to the Václav Havel Airport, which can be easily reached within 15 minutes, is also an unquestionable benefit. In Bubeneč, you can also find all amenities, cultural activities, as well as the amount of green vegetation that provide parks “Královská obora” and “Stromovka”.
