Sport is one of the great pillars of a physically and emotionally healthy society and, therefore, all initiatives aimed at strengthening it are welcome. This is the philosophy that led Engel & Völkers Barcelona to become a proud sponsor of Corbera de Llobregat's 35th Skating Festival. Once again this year, skaters of all ages took part in a colourful exhibition that demonstrated the good health of this activity in the province of Barcelona.
Organised by CPA Diadema and with the collaboration of the City Council of Corbera de Llobregat, the event took place last Saturday July 15th in Pabellón Municipal de Deportes that was filled-up by people for the occasion. As the organisation celebrated at the end of the event, the 2017 edition of the festival counted on the participation of 85 skaters from the age of three. Undoubtedly, the smaller ones received some of the biggest ovations in the contest, representing the future figure skaters. 66 of the participating skaters belong to CPA Diadema, who satisfactorily showed the results of their hard work over the last decades.
Among the great protagonists of the day, the skater, Esther Condominas, brought all her creativity to the contest by demonstrating some of her most spectacular numbers and guaranteeing the success of the event.Just like in any other sport, having a good technical team is always the best point of support for clubs. Condominas had the support of other CPA Diadema professionals such as Estefanía Bernat, Alicia Torneiro and Alba Suárez. Beside them, the visibly proud parents of the participants and the rest of the public supported each of the shows with unanimous applause.
Engel & Völkers Barcelona contributed to the strong influx of spectators by financing, along with other collaborating companies, the great contest of the night. To be exact, four high-quality travel bags (Polo) were given away in a raffle, which will allow more than one lucky person to start planning their holidays. What's more, our real estate company was also present in the different programmes of the show, merging its logo with the great work of the skaters. The social networks gave testimony of what happened in the Pabellón Municipal de Deportes.
After the positive responses from the organisers, participants, and spectators, Engel & Völkers Barcelona will continue its policy of supporting this type of sporting events. In the rest of Spain we have also been present in other initiatives of a similar nature in which working with children and social inclusion have been our main achievements.
