Discrete, fast and with years of market knowledge.
An old photo or video can make us look back and realise how much our houses have changed over the years. Thanks to the incorporation of new technologies, the concept of homes has changed radically in the last 20 years. In fact, the devices in homes that seemed like science fiction to us back in the 20th century, are completely the norm now.
Here we want to talk to you about how new technologies have changed the concept of homes during recent times. We are going to include features that are completely integrated into one's day-to-day life but would have been completely unimaginable a few years ago.
The advancement of home automation
You may remember the first time you heard about home automation, a technology that allowed homes to be more 'smart'. Reserved for those with greater purchasing power, it allows you to program the automatic opening and closing of the blinds, the turning on and off of the washing machine or the activation of the air conditioning and heating devices at a certain time of the day so that the house is at a pleasant temperature upon your arrival.
Today, a large number of appliances have WiFi connectivity. The reason for this? By linking them with the wireless Internet connection of the home, it is possible to control these devices through the mobile phone no matter where the user is. In this way, we do not even need to be proactive and predict the time we will return home. It only takes, for example, a matter of downloading a specific application to your phone in order to activate the appliance that we want to use when we are about to leave work and go home.
This also applies to television, stereo system and even the home lighting, which can be easily controlled from a 'smartphone' or a 'tablet' thanks to the technology we have discussed. In the same way, these devices are able to send us notifications and alerts regarding any issue that may interest us. This 'feedback' between the device and the user was completely unthinkable a couple of decades ago.
Security is a priority
