La Molina attracts major international ski and snowboard competitions.

The ski resort La Molina, located in the Cerdanya region has become a leader in organizing international ski competitions with two major events this winter. The first was the Alpine Skiing World Cup for disabled for the International Paralympic Committee (IPC) which took place between January 8 and 11, and the second is the Para-Snowboard World Cup for riders with disabilities to be held between February 22 and March 1st, bringing together the best athletes of this modality. These two competitions are added to the long list of World Cup and European alpine ski and snowboard competitions organized at the Catalan ski resort. La Molina is an example of accessibility amongst the ski resorts, one of the reference points for people with reduced mobility and visibility and it also has an Adapted Center. The Catalan ski resort has carved its way both nationally and internationally for the quality of its slopes and its events.
