Alberic is a town with a population of 10,826 residents. An area mainly agricultural but actually is emerging industry in expansión. The town is located in the Ribera Alta region, on the river plain between the river Xúquer (Júcar) and Rio Verde. Far from the capital, Valencia, 45.4 km (35 min A7) and 9.4 km (12 min) of Alzira. The surface of the term is flat except for a small section to the west in the foothills of the Sierra de Tous. Alberic began its history in ancient times, since they have found remains of the Bronze Age and Roman objects from the second century BC. Alberic is well known throughout the province because of his garden products, especially lettuce and is famous for making the best Panquemados handmade or Monas, sweet bread served with chocolate.
