Alginet: Location and surroundings of this property

Alginet is a municipality placed in the High Bank in transition with the Valencian Garden, to the south of the same one and he is provided with a population of approximately 13. 000 inhabitants. It is distant from cardinal Valencia 25,8 km for the A7 and from the airport 33,2 km for the divided highway, without taking any more than 34 minutes in doing both trips. From south to north it is crossed by The Drought Reial del Xúquer and the Channel Xúquer-Turia, in addition to the highway N-340, the narrow-gage railway of Valencia passes for Alginet to Castelló of the Bank, with station in the people. Its origin is an ancient Moslem farmhouse (Aljanet or Aljenet, which comes from the Arab Al Al-jannát jannát, who means The Orchards) that was repopulated by Christian colonists during the XIIIth century. The agriculture and the cattle keep on occupying the fourth part of the population and in the last 30 years it has developed an important industry thanks to the metropolitan area of Valencia and its good communications. The surface of the term is flat, except a few mountainous elevations to the western end, where there are formed the Urban developments of The Lagos and San Patricio.
