A new trendy area: Madrid Río

Madrid is a city in a permanent state of renewal. Proof of this is when from time to time, a particular area becomes fashionable. Everything seems to indicate that currently, Madrid Rio is one of the most trendy areas in the capital, especially for families and children. This is due to the fact that Manzanares path has become the perfect space for both cyclists and pedestrians and there are also plenty of parks that surround this area.

The most popular activities to do in Madrid Río include skating, running, walking or riding a bike on the cycling paths. It is necessary to take into account that during the weekend there are lots of children in this area so it's best to cycle with care. In addition, there are only a few roads, which provides great tranquility to families and creates a more pleasant environment in which to enjoy the day.

There are many things on offer in this area of the city. But, without a doubt, these are the most interesting ones:

1. The parks. In Madrid, there are plenty of children's playgrounds with swings and many other play areas where the little ones will have a great time with their siblings and friends.

2. The SkatePark. This public space is more intended for the teenagers. In fact, it is for both amateurs and professionals who can give a good skating show. Specifically, it consists of two tracks that remain open from Monday to Sunday between 10.00 and 23.00.

3. The giant slides. This true star attraction in Madrid Río has a series of giant slides designed for both children and adults and is close to the beach. In fact, anyone who wishes to take part can simply throw themselves down the slide as all the necessary safety measures are in place.

4. The Madrid Río beach. There is a beach, but it has no sand. In fact, these are two gigantic fountains with dozens of water jets placed at ground levels and surrounded by a lawn meadow. Anyone who wishes to take part should bring their swimsuit with them.

5. La Pasarela de Arganzuela. Located very close to Madrid Río beach, it is a rather unique bridge that is worthy of a visit.

In addition to these 5 interesting places, there is also a bicycle rental area and 'tandems'. This is undoubtedly a very complete leisure offer for the whole family that has managed to make Madrid Río the most fashionable area.
