Agroecológico Market and Fiesta de la Calabaza
One of the most interesting activities this autumn will take place within the Centre for Environmental Information and Education, del Centro de Información and Educación Ambiental 'El Huerto del Retiro' in the morning and there will also be a contest about the best decorated dragons and gourds. Visitors can participate in family workshops and there will be a conference to exchange seeds as well as a flea market that will be held at the Agroecológico Market where you can buy and sell all kinds of sustainable products.
On 12th of November, between 11.00 and 13.00, there will be an activity called 'planting trees' organised by the Asociación Plantamos Árboles de Madrid. It is particularly aimed for children over 7 years of age, although it is true that adults can also participate. It aims to teach people about the way trees are transplanted to help increase their number in our planet's forests.
