Centre: Location and surroundings of this property

The neuralgic center of the city consists of three squares, joined by two streets of intense commercial and social activity. The largest of the three, the Plaza de la Llibertat, was remodeled in 2003 and is usually used for exhibitions or fairs related to typical products of the area. Llovera street joins this square with Plaza Prim, historically considered the center of social life in Reus. In it is also the largest of the two classic theaters in the city, the Teatre Fortuny. Monterols Street joins this square with the third of the aforementioned, Plaza del Mercadal (so-called because it was historically the city's market). In Plaza Mercadal you can find the Town Hall building, as well as the most emblematic modernist building in the city, Casa Navàs. The old nucleus, of which the squares of Prim and Mercadal, but not of the Llibertad, would be part, is located between the Arrabals of Robuster, of San Pere, of Jesus, of Martí Folguera, of the Pallol and of Santa Ana, known zone as "Tomb de Ravals". The two aforementioned pedestrian streets, Monterols and Llovera, form the commercial axis of the city and, together with the "Tomb de Ravals", give Reus a marked commercial character. Recently, a shopping center called "Pallol" was opened in the old center of the city.
A more modern nucleus is within the perimeter of the Riera Miró, Avenida San Jorge, Carrer Dr. Robert, Paseo Mata, Paseo Suñer, Plaza de las Ocas, Paseo Prim, Pastoreta Square, La Salle Avenue, Avinguda Pere el Ceremonios and Riera de Aragón. Beyond these limits the city is expanding.
