One of the most unique mansions on the Mediterranean Coast. It sits on a hilltop with a magnificent view of the sea, Gibraltar, the African Coast, Guadiaro River and the wooded hills of this part of the coast. It is located three kilometers from the beach, near the world famous golf courses, International polo fields and the Marina. The estate exudes grandeur and timeless style. Its unique architecture is flush with detail inspired by famous Italian Renaissance villas, yet the atmosphereis entirely modern, and has a very comfortable living space. The impressive double dome, as well as a series of heavily ornamented, oriental style bedrooms and its Moorish style baths provide an exotic contrast from the rest of the building. Aside from two fabulous Roman design swimming pools which has been featured several times in various Architectural magazines and books, there is an indoor pool which has marble walls and red marble pillars with a barrel roof skylights, adjacent to the lemon courtyard.
The expansive terrace with its fountains, pools and waterfalls creates a harmonious union with the exhuberant vegetation of the estate’s 66.000 sq.m. well kept garden and forest.
All the main bedrooms are fully air conditioned, ensuite heated marble bathrooms and have access to the elevator. The main suite (150 sq.m.) is located on the top floor of the tower, which has a sitting room, bedroom, His and Hers bathrooms and closets and a south facing logia with a panoramic view of the estate. In this wing are five more double bedrooms arranged in different style, but all have antique furnishings. There are also two additional bedrooms in the Moorish wing.
The main salón boasts a unique stucco decorations and gorgeous white marble fireplace, there is also a separate family room, an orangery, a spectacular two story library with a genuine Renaissance fireplace, a 16th century wooden ceiling and a gallery. The dark wood paneled dining room with paintings can sit up to 16 guests. The main kitchen is Morrocan design with a central island. Large and professionally equipped octagonal cooking area.
There is a separate 3 bedroom guesthouse in the center of the lush garden. A small grotto and a waterfall adorned with a sculpture of Neptune. The remaining area is covered by a 25 year old palm grove and forest park with thousands of pines, cypresses, mimosas and palm trees. A fenced illuminated full size tennis court is built near the guest house. Truly, Las Sirenas is an exhibition of masterful craftmanship and artistry. The expansive estate provides a quiet, calming atmosphere, yet within easy distance to the famous beaches, golf courses, Marbella and several international airports.
