The municipality of Mareny de Barraquetes is located in Albufera natural park next to the sea. El Mareny de Barraquetes beach, with 900 meters of coast, is a beach not urbanized, with very fine sand. Here you can enjoy the best views of the coast, the red tones of the picturesque sunsets and the deep blue of the Mediterranean. Bega de Mar beach is only 3 minutes from the town, 10 minutes from Sueca and Cullera and 20 minutes from Valencia. Manises airport is in aprox. 45 minutes. This geographical area of valencia is recognized by the vegetables of its orchards that have a denomination of origin and are highly appreciated internationally, as well as for its gastronomy (rice, all i pebre, seafood zarzuela, etc), especially the population of Palmar which is located in the lake of the Albufera and where there are many restaurants.
