The municipal area has 16.6 sqm. Cox and municipal boundaries are: north Granja de Rocamora; south Redován; east, Callosa de Segura, and west Orihuela. The terrain is flat in the area watered by the Segura and irrigation in boquera Abanilla Rambla and is steeper to the south, where the Sierra of Callosa belonging to Penibético System is located at heights as the Cross of In the middle or Eagle peak, 561 m, where on a clear day can be seen in both the plain and the sea to Alicante as the Mar Menor and Murcia in neighboring islands. The Mediterranean climate is characterized by mild winters and hot summers with high humidity due to the proximity of the sea and the influence of the garden itself. The annual average temperature is usually around 19 degrees with low rainfall but occasionally can become heavy (cold drop), the skies are usually slightly covered and light winds.
