In 1860, Pere Roger commissioned to build an impressive house in the old town of Begur, which is today rated as one of the most beautiful "indiana" houses of the city, even of Catalonia. The magnificent ceiling and walls with frescoes and drawings are unique.
The lobby leads to a large room with an impressive staircase and an elevator. Besides the exquisite living room with fireplace on this level, are more rooms, which are used as a study or games room. In addition to the dining room there is a modern kitchen, but by adjusting the style of the house very well.
After entering the majestic central space on the first floor, the walls and ceiling decorated with paintings and large medallions, you will see in the middle of the ceiling medallions in a series of biblical and pagan themes. The four beautiful bedrooms also adorned with paintings and furnished with Elizabethan furniture, are as well overwhelming. Each has a modern bathroom that fit perfectly to the style by outstanding communication and execution. The basement is modern and has a wine cellar carved into the rock. The garden is planted with palm trees, magnolias and other species of Mediterranean plants. From the garden you can enjoy the two galleries in the rear facade with frescoes on the walls. In the middle of the garden is the pool that is fed through a central channel with water from a well. Everything is a work of art!
