The San Fernando neighbourhood is a pleasant and quiet residential area of Puerto de la Cruz, the tourist center of the north of Tenerife.
Nearby is the "Taoro Park", a beautiful park in the heart of the city, which is often used as a meeting point. After a pleasant walk or sporting activity one can enjoy one of the many gastronomic offerings, some with spectacular views over Puerto.
The park is also home to the Anglican Church of Puerto de la Cruz, classical concerts are organized there and once a month a flea market in the outdoor area. Some small groceries and hotels are not far away, as well as the private hospital "Hospiten Bellevue".
Within walking distance is the hustle and bustle of the picturesque city of Puerto with its countless shops, restaurants and pubs.
