This small Canary country house is situated in the historic center of La Orotava. It has been restored with great attention to details, taking care that the original Canarian style and charm of the house has been preserved, which primarily affects the woodwork and masonry. The interior of the house consists of a cozy living / dining room with open kitchen and chimney, a large master bedroom and two additional smaller bedrooms. The bathroom is equipped with shower. Typical of the Canarian-style in that era is the courtyard ("Patio"), which connects all the rooms one with another. The yard was roofed over with a glass roof, so that the interior of the house is flooded with light.
La Orotava is one of the most beautiful cities in the north of Tenerife, located in the green Orotava Valley. Visitors can reach the city through the northern motorway TF-5.
Canarian architecture lovers, hikers, nature lovers and gourmets will appreciate La Orotava with its historic center. The city is a popular destination for visitors from all around the world. Numerous well-marked hiking trails and beautiful scenery along banana plantations and vineyards offer the best conditions for a day in the nature. The botanist Alexander von Humboldt visited the Orotava valley very often in the 19th century. Nearby, there is a viewing platform, the “Humboldt Mirador”, with amazing views over the whole valley.
