This exceptional property is located on the outskirts of Icod de los Vinos. It is a lovely restored Canarian Finca, which consists of a total of 5 residential units. It is located on a plot which is not too big and nevertheless offers lots of privacy. If this is not enough, it provides an often searched challenge: As "Casa Emblemática" (literally translated as "flagship House"), the Finca fits perfectly into the very typical environment and has a license for holiday rental. All five units can be rented out, unless you want live in one of them yourself. Four of the five residential units surround a large, typical Canarian courtyard ("Patio"). There is a main flat, two studios, an apartment and a separate guest house. The garden includes a wellness center with sauna, Jacuzzi and fireplace, which can be used by all units. From the large roof terrace you have a magnificent view to Mount Teide, the Atlantic and the north coast of Tenerife. The beautifully landscaped garden hosts a big variety of fruit trees such as citrus fruit, pomaceous fruit like apples and pears and exotic fruits such as pomegranates and figs and even a small wine yard. A barbecue area for 6 persons completes this attractive offer. Both building complexes were completely renovated in 2008 and 2013, respectively. The apartments remain completely, the main flat partially furnished.

Icod: Location and surroundings of this property

Icod de los Vinos is located on a continuous smooth slope that stretches from the extensive forests of Canary Island Pine down to the sea, and has almost 10 km of shoreline. The city is surrounded by fertile valley, and offers some of the best views of the Teide on the island. The main industry is agriculture, producing crops of bananas, potatoes, cereals, vegetables and fruit. An important activity is the wine production and the vintages bottled here are given the Denomination of Origin Ycoden-Daute-Isora. Down on the seafront with its lovely beach, at San Marcos, much commercial fishing takes place. Icod de los Vinos has an impressive range of shops and small businesses, as well as a good range of bars and restaurants. Icod de los Vinos is one of the oldest inhabited sites on the island, and the town’s neighbourhoods are sprinkled with innumerable hermitages and other buildings that give Icod great symbolic and artistic value. City of the Dragon tree: the inhabitants of Icod de los Vinos, known since antiquity for their friendliness and nobility, are proud of their tree, which has been nominated in 2011 to be a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Apart from the famous tree, Icod is home to the Cueva del Viento, which is the largest volcanic cave system in the world. It is however for the quality of the wines that Icod is known worldwide since several centuries. The mixture of culture, nature, sights, and friendly people make this lively town to a very nice place to live.
