The municipality of Cunit occupies only a small part of the region, consisting of a narrow coastal strip and a mountainous area of rounded appearance, of low altitude, always below 200 metres, but with notable slopes at its eastern end. It borders the province of Barcelona with two municipalities: Castellet y la Gornal to the north and Cubelles to the east, to the west it meets Segur de Calafell and to the south the Mediterranean Sea.
