If you are looking for somewhere quiet, la Mora is your destination, has a natural park which has been declared area of natural interest.
Undoubtedly, this is one of the few areas of the Costa Dorada that is maintained alien to the changes derived from tourism and industrial activities.
You will enjoy quiet beaches, crystal clear and not very busy, being that to get them you have to take a walk among the pines.
We also highlight about the area, are the various fortifications and Tamarit Castle, one of the most beautiful castles that still remain in the country and gives an elegant touch to the rest of the park.
For walking this wonderful paradise, we must start from Playa Larga and cross some cliffs, where it is possible to see the remains of what was apparently a Roman quarry and then we go up the hill through the woods through a trail.
In this way we find Cala Fonda beachthat arises from the heights which access is quite complicated, so tranquility is assured. This is followed by Roca Plana, also a bit hidden and uncrowded. From here, taking up the trail through pine trees you can climb to the tower of Mora, circular tower dating from the XVI century.
To exit the place, we must surround a fenced camping and cross country road to visit the magnificent Roman Mèdol quarries, which are full of limestone cliffs and lush vegetation.
