The municipality of Las Rozas is located in the northwest of Madrid 19km from the capital. Its surface is between 5883 and 5914 hectares. Altitude: 718 meters. With this last municipality, Las Rozas maintains a special relationship, sharing one of the basic services, such as the Civil Guard Barracks, the Fire Station or the Red Cross Post, located on the road linking both localities.
Las Rozas is one of the municipalities with the highest per capita income in Spain. It has also experienced strong growth in its population, rising from about 35,137 inhabitants in 1991 to 89,151 registered on 1st of January 2011.
Due to the strong growth of the Las Rozas population in recent years, several shopping centers and leisure areas have been built. Areas, not only visited by young people, but also by many young people from municipalities near Las Rozas, as they are connected with buses close to them, taxi stops, a nearby train station and extensive parking areas.
