The City of Sant Cugat del Vallès (Barcelona) provisionally approved the classification of the Black Tower area as undeveloped land, which will shield the building space once the Government ratifies the final approval of the urban process.
With the modification of General Metropolitan Plan (PGM), Sant Cugat complete the "legal shield" of agroforestry, in pursuance of a judgment of the Superior Court of Justice of Catalonia (TSJC) which annulled the previous qualification endowed special Black Tower protection.
The area in question was, until the 50s, a group of farms with scattered houses with a small village near the church of Sant Cebrià.
