From the top floor, we go down stairs a comfortable steel design, which lead us to new office room with a lounge off the kitchen. The kitchen, though small, is fully equipped with all appliances, is very functional. From this room, it gives us access to a bathroom, which has maintained a fabulous Romanesque arch. On the other side of the room, we found a room with two single beds and a dressing room / closet very large in size, with room for several bags and all clothing.
The apartment is located in the center of Barcelona. In the famous and glamorous neighborhood of Born, in the Gothic Quarter, where at present workshops and art exhibitions, local fashion designers, specialty shops, graphic design studios and great terraces and restaurants offering varied dining options are positioned.
The apartment is on the route of modernism, which gives the area an aura of romance. Right next door is the Palau de la Música, a jewel of modernist architecture, designed by Domènech and Muntaner, a disciple of Antoni Gaudi, the famous architect of the Sagrada Familia. Also next door is the Mercat de Santa Caterina, meeting place for the locals, both to make their purchases of Spanish delicatessen, as great Iberian ham, and to enjoy its terraces appreciating modernist architecture.
