Lloret de Mar has magnificent views of the castle at one end and the monument to "The Dona Marinera" which represents the suffering of women waiting for the return of their husbands' fishermen on the other side. The nearest airports are Girona - Costa Brava, 30 Km away. And the Barcelona airport to 75 Km. Girona airport connects Lloret de Mar with a large number of European cities and also has significant charter flights. Barcelona airport is connected to regular flights to the main cities of the world. In Lloret de Mar we find two golf courses and one of the most famous water parks in the area.
