The Sarria-Sant Gervasi is the fifth of the ten districts that administratively divided the city of Barcelona and first in per capita income. It is situated on the western edge of the city. It is surrounded by the districts of Horta-Guinardó, Gracia, Eixample, Les Corts and the municipalities of San Justo Desvern, Esplugas de Llobregat, Sant Feliu de Llobregat, Molins de Rey and San Cugat del Vallés. Much of the territory of the district is based on the Collserola.
