Torrevieja: Location and surroundings of this property

Torrevieja is a city on the shores of the Mediterranean located south of the province of Alicante, within the region of Vega Baja. It is framed in a landscape of high scenic and ecological value, the Natural Park of Lagunas de La Mata and Torrevieja, one of the most important wetlands of the Valencian Community and one of the most important salt mines in Europe. The salt city has a Mediterranean climate very influenced by the proximity to the sea, which originates a very mild annual average temperature and a large number of hours of sunshine per year, making Torrevieja an idyllic place to reside and enjoy the Mediterranean. With a total of 14 km of coastline, the extensive Torrevejense coastline offers a multitude of beaches, rocky coves and places of exceptional beauty: from La Mata beach to Punta Prima, passing through Los Locos, El Cura, Los Náufragos and Cala Ferrís. Playa de los Náufragos is located south of Torrevieja. It has a small promenade, and belongs to the district with the same name, formed by small neighborhoods, whose population comes from nearby municipalities in the same region, attracted by a peaceful environment by the sea. The district of Los Náufragos, consists of urbanizations built in the 70 'and 80', town houses of one or two floors, and buildings of the same years, generally large. It is a quiet area that is not significantly altered in the summer months, with a stable population, and with all services, close to the center.
