The palace of Urtatzazarra is a beutiful property of 800m2 with a garden of 11.792m2. The exterior and the roof have been reformed, except for windows and shutters. The interior of the house is to be fully restored. Splendid views of the valley with Aizkorri mountain chain in the background. The palace is distributed in two independent properties and a tower of aprox. 50m2. The inner structure is made of reinforced concrete slabs with hanging beams. The structure of roof skirts is made of reinforced concrete, whereas eaves and balconies are made of wood. The loophole windos, the two baroque arches at the entrance, the coat of arms and an inspiring plate "weapons of the family house of Urtatzazarra" are the work of descendents of this powerful family. For instance, in fifties the antique family house was fully restored by Patricio Echeverria, Duke Echeverria of Legazpia.
The palace is located a kilometer away from the city center of Legazpi in the state of Guipuzkoa, less than an hour drive from Bilbao, Vitoria and Pamplona.
