From the living area and from the kitchen you have access to a large covered terrace and enjoy impressive panoramic views of the surrounding landscape up to the monastery of San Salvado. You reach the upper floor via a spiral staircase, where two further comfortable bedrooms share a bathroom. In the basement of the house there is a separate apartment with living-dining area, small kitchenette as well as three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The lovingly designed garden impresses with its various terraces and the large pool. Another separate guest house offers, with the necessary renovation, space for additional guests. Due to the unique nature conservation location, this house is very unique. It was completely extended and renovated in 1983. In 1992 the area was declared a nature park, which means that building is no longer allowed in this part of the coast. The popular village Santanyí with its numerous restaurants, cafés, bars and shops can be reached in about 15 minutes by car. Other authentic villages, fishing ports and various sandy beaches are also nearby.


Santanyi: Location and surroundings of this property

Cala Mondragó is part of Mondragó's 766 hectare natural park. The two largest bays, ses Fonts de n'Alis and s'Amarador, are connected by a short walk on a rocky path and are one of the most beautiful and clean bays in Mallorca. The next largest town is Santanyi and is about 56 km from Palma. The village in the Southeast, with its nearly 12,000 inhabitants, is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. The houses are built in the original Majorcan style with their typical Marés sand stone. In the center there are many small shops where you can find extraordinary fashion, jewelery and decorative items. Every Wednesday and Saturday is market day, which runs through the entire center. Here you can enjoy the hustle and bustle on one of the most beautiful markets of the island. The Mondrago Natural Park offers two beautiful bays and is located in the immediate vicinity of Santanyi. The Vall d'Or golf course, a small but appealing landscaped area with fantastic views of the sea, is about 20 minutes driveaway from Santanyí. Among the most beautiful beaches in the area of Santanyi are the Cala Lombards, the Calo des Moro, the Cala S'Almunia and S'Amarador. A few minutes drive from Santanyi is the Cala Santanyi, where the crystal-clear water falls gently and the beach is perfect for families.
