San Salvador de Guardiola is a municipality located between Manresa and the limit with the Anoia, of broken territory except for some small plane, like that of Salelles. The population in the municipality is distributed unevenly, the orography of the land has allowed to create 4 outstanding nuclei: the old town, the village of Salelles and the two most important developments: El Calvet and Ca l'Esteve and also we find suburbs , like that of the Sellarés or the Pinyot that in spite of having a specific weight at a lower demographic level, are also important residential spaces.
