The town is located in the middle basin of the river Guadarrama, at an altitude of 661 meters and occupies about 7,000 hectares. The population is close to 30,000 inhabitants. Villaviciosa is well connected by the M-501 and M-50 roads highways. The urbanization El Bosque has accesses that facilitate its communication with the center of Villaviciosa, sector B of Boadilla del Monte and with Móstoles and Alcorcón through the M-506 road.
El Bosque has its own commercial center, several supermarkets, various shops and bank branches and it is close to 10/15 minutes from the main university hospitals, Public Universities and the most popular and important commercial areas of the Northwest of the Community of Madrid. In Villaviciosa de Odón there are several kindergartens, public and private, public schools for children and primary education, secondary schools and private schools, with and without concert, in addition to the main campus of the private European University of Madrid.
