This individual new building is located near Santanyi and was designed by a renowned architect from Palma. Here you can enjoy the Mediterranean life in absolute tranquillity and reach Santanyi and the beautiful Cala Llombards in a few minutes. Natural elements such as historic wooden beams, Binissalem natural stone and lime plaster have been combined with high quality architecture. In this finca traditional handicraft was combined with modern building techniques. Upon entering the house, you will find yourself in the entrance area with high ceilings and views of the courtyard with historic water wells. From the light-flooded living/dining area you have access to a sunny terrace, the modern kitchen and the guest toilet. In the sleeping area there is a utility room as well as four bedrooms and three bathrooms. Each bedroom has its own small terrace area. The upper floor has a master bedroom with dressing room and bathroom en suite. From here as well as from the corresponding sunny terrace you have a wonderful view into the green environment up to the sea. In almost all rooms there are floor-to-ceiling French doors, which bring a lot of light into the house. Underfloor heating throughout the house and air conditioning in the bedrooms provide a pleasant temperature all year round. From both the hallway and the kitchen you have access to a protected patio. In the garden there is an approx. 50 m² pool with pool house.
Santanyi: Location and surroundings of this property
Santanyí is situated in the extreme southeast of Mallorca, about 56 km from Palma and some 12 km inland from the coastal resort of Cala D’Or with its charming marina, bars and restaurants. The village in the Southeast, with its nearly 12,000 inhabitants, is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. The houses are built in the original Majorcan style with their typical Maressandstone. The shops offer fine fashions, local jewellery and ceramics and every Wednesday and Saturday you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of one of the most delightful markets of the island. The Mondrago Natural Park is in the vicinity with its two beautiful bays, Mondrago and S’Amarador and for golfers the Vall D’Or golf club with outstanding views of the sea is just a 20 minutes drive away. Among the many other beautiful bays in the area are Cala Llombards, Cala Santanyí and Cala Figuera where you can still see the traditional Mallorcan fishing boats coming in and out every day offering their wares for sale right in front of your eyes as you walk around the most picturesque old harbour of the island.
