Boadilla del Monte is a term member of the Metropolitan of

people and 47.2 square kilometers. Bordering it, the municipalities of Majadahonda, Pozuelo de Alarcón, Alcorcón, Villaviciosa de Odón and Villanueva de la Cañada. It belongs in its entirety to the Guadarrama River basin.
This municipality experienced a strong population increase in
the mind-seventies with the establishment in residential areas
of a large number of single-family residences. In the coming
years it will experience a new large population increase as a
result of the liberalization of large areas of land that are
already urbanizing. The main population centers, as well as
the old town, are the luxury urbanizations called Montepríncipe, Olivar de Mirabal, Parque Boadilla, Bonanza and Las Lomas, known as historical developments. Montepríncipe presents an unbeatable location, with good access to the M-40 road.
