El Moncayo: Location and surroundings of this property

Guardamar del Segura is about 8 minutes’ drive from Rojales and 10km from Torrevieja, south of Alicante. It is a lively, but not too tourist orientated town with lots of shops and where there are miles of fantastic beach with a blue flag for safety & cleanliness, with nets to play volley ball, and climbing frame nets to keep the children busy while you top up the tan. Lifeguards attend on the beach every day.
Guardamar has 11 km of coastline. Its beaches are Center beach, Los Viveros beach, Babylon beach, Moncayo beach, Campo beach, the Roqueta and the Ortigas beach. If you fancy some fresh air to your body there is also a large nudist beach (Los Tussales).
There is a large leisure centre with swimming pools, football courts, tennis courts and other leisure activities available just at the bottom end of the beach. There is also a marina in Guadamar where you can indulge yourself in all kinds of water sports like sailing, windsurf or snorkel. As well as, you may go on board to visit the beaches of the island of Tabarca.
Guardamar has a splendid dune area with a large yacht haven, a wood of pine-trees with 15 km shining beachsand a boulevard where you can walk on warm summer evenings.
South of Guardamar is the Parque Natural de las Lagunas de La Mata-Torrevieja, an important wetland reserve inhabited by a huge seabird.
Followers of golf find the perfect place to display their virtues, because it has five golf courses.
All the services like restaurants, supermarkets, health center and Hotel Campomar are very close. On Wednesday there is a large week market in the centre.
Well connected by air: 35km from the Alicante airport and by road: N-332.
