A recent study gave Banyoles the municipality with the highest standard of living in Catalonia, and the beautiful natural lake, only a few metres from the house, is the centre of the town’s sport and recreational activities. The beautiful countryside around the lake of Banyoles is one of the most recognized in Catalonia, for its diversity of flora and fauna. It has one of the most appreciated residential areas of the region, with fantastic recreational, sports, educational services (there is a high school a street away from the house) and welfare services.
Public transport, a few meters-walk from the house, allows easy access to the town center where we find shopping, eating and leisure services. Access to the rest of Catalonia and beyond is excellent by an excellent road and motorway network. A short journey brings us to the city of Girona where we find the high-speed AVE train station and the international airport of Girona-Costa Brava. The AP-7 motorway takes us between Barcelona and the border of France. You are within easy reach of both the beautiful Costa Brava Coast, magnificent Pyrenes mountains and bustling cities, while living aside a beautiful lake in a safe and prosperous town.
