The name of this Finca, located near the old road of Santa Cruz de Olorda, refers to an old guard tower, located, apparently, where the current door is. The name follows suit so that, in modern time, the current turret-viewpoint was constructed. The most is documented since 1368, in a real document that refers to its owner, Bernat Bofill. The Bofill in maintained the property until in 1723, when it happened at the hands of Tomás Llevallol. Then to those of Francisco Galcerán. At the beginning of century XX belonged to Eusebi Blades. It is currently owned by the Vizuete blades family.

The building has been beautifully renovated over the centuries. The current look looks like a 19th century farmhouse, with the addition of a Neo-Gothic chapel at one end of the house, next to the tower. In the wine cellar there is an 18th century press.

Near the farmhouse is the Fuente de la Tartana.
