This municipality experienced a great population increase in the mid-seventies with the establishment of several residential areas and a large number of single-family residences.
The main Boadilla’s population centres, in addition to the old town, are the luxurious private complex called Monteprincipe, Olivar de Mirabal, Parque Boadilla, Bonanza and Las Lomas, known as historic housing developments.
