The city is located north of the province of Valencia, and is the capital of the Camp de Morvedre. With a population of about 65,000 inhabitants, it has all the health, financial, sports, cultural, gastronomic, shopping centres, etc. We distinguish two major urban centres: Sagunto and Puerto de Sagunto. Sagunto is located in the historical district with monuments such as the Roman Theatre Sagunto Castle, the Church of the Saviour, etc. It also offers various cultural events (Easter procession, “Sagunt à Escena” Summer Festival, and many more). In Puerto de Sagunto we find the best beaches of Valencia, entertainment and a wide gastronomic variety.
