Inside the palace are hidden treasures of incalculable value. In the central courtyard of the building, ringed by arches supported by thirty columns, is a set of Roman mosaics of the second century AD that represent the god Bacchus and his cortege and, according to the experts, are priceless in the antique market. A black marble staircase inlaid with white marble and red jasper links the two floors of the property.

But the jewel of the crown is a rich Hall of the Throne of 90 square meters that Ricardo Martel, IX Earl of Torres Cabrera, ordered to build in 1877 on the occasion of the visit of Alfonso XII to Cordoba. The king stayed for three days in April in the palace and his host decided to give him this fabulous Louis XV style room.

The list of illustrious guests who have passed through the palace is another attribute of this unique property. The afore mentioned king Alfonso XII, his son Alfonso XIII, the newly married kings of Jordan Husein and Dina bint 'Abdu'l-Hamid, the politician Antonio Cánovas del Castillo, the cantaor Antonio Fernández Grilo, the dukes of Montpensier and the aristocrat Ramón María Narváez are some of the most prominent names.
