Montañar I / Via Augusta: Location and surroundings of this property

Jávea (in Valencian and co-officially Xàbia), a town bathed by the Mediterranean Sea, is the easternmost point of the peninsula, proudly called the DAWN OF SPAIN. Where the crystalline waters, its beaches, its impressive coves, its port and its promenades, show us the great relaxing power of living next to a sea called the Mediterranean.
The municipality is located in the Valencian Community, in the northern part of the Costa Blanca, in the province of Alicante, next to towns such as Denia, Moraira and Altea. From the port of Jávea, the islands of Ibiza and Mallorca are only 50 nautical miles away.
The combination of its spectacular scenery, its tranquil, elegant and relaxed atmosphere, has made it one of the most attractive places on the Costa Blanca and a popular destination for visitors from all over Europe as well as being one of the favourite places for Spaniards from Valencia, Barcelona and Madrid.
Jávea has a varied orography. The Montgó is the most remarkable peak of the region, with its more than 750 metres high. There are the Cabo de San Antonio (to the north) and the Cap Prim or Cabo de San Martín between which the bay of Jávea is formed.
According to a scientific study carried out in the 90's, our area was considered to be the first best microclimate in the world and the truth is that you can enjoy a good temperature all year round with an average temperature ranging from 18º to 24º. Furthermore, the WHO (World Health Organisation) has placed Jávea among the healthiest places in the world to live.
There is a wide variety of beaches and coves that allow the bather to enjoy everything from relaxing on the sand to snorkelling and scuba diving due to its impressive marine landscape (protected reserve since 1993).
