This spectacular town house originally built in the year 1830 consisting of a ground floor plus two floors and a roof terrace is available for long-term rental.
It was rehabilitated and refurbished maintaining the most of the original building structure. Inside there are two courtyards, one with a fountain that also serves to cool the interior of the building in summer. Vertical gardens with a self-watering system and lighting create a cozy and typical Andalusian atmosphere.
On the ground floor there is a large hall and a reception room that has the necessary connections for a kitchen to be installed . A barrier-free bathroom with sink, toilet and shower is also located on the same floor. From the entrance an three-storey high room, covered by a glass ceiling is reached.
On the first floor there are two large rooms in which the original floors have been preserved. The very representative room facing towards the street has a French balcony and is ideal as a lounge or meeting room.
Another gallery room that is open to the vertical garden is located at the back of the house, illuminated by daylight entering through the courtyard and a window.
Going up to the second floor, there are two other large rooms for multiple use and another bathroom with a shower. Above the bathroom there is a glass ceiling that is the floor of a pool of approximately 2.50m x 2.50m and about 1.20m deep.
The sunlight entering through the water cause magical reflections on the walls of this bathroom. The wooden beams of the street-facing room were rehabilitated just like the historic construction of the galleries in the courtyard.
Typical for the construction in the 19th century are the high ceilings. New elements such as doors and installations for which contemporary materials such as steel and glass are used, fit perfectly with the historical elements.
A natural air conditioning system optimizes the building's climate throughout the year. In addition, the main rooms have Split air conditioning and radiators (gas). In two of the rooms it is possible to install fireplaces (pellets). Fire detectors that are installed throughout the building, ,allow the commercial use of the house.


Centro Histórico: Location and surroundings of this property

In the last years, the historic centre of Malaga has been transformed and found a new life. It is being rediscovered by the world, while retaining a very Spanish and Andalusian atmosphere. The centre offers an eclectic mix of new exclusive boutiques, hipster cafés, gastro bars alongside old family restaurants and small stores. In the evening, the terraces fill up with people and they feature some of the best tapas and seafood restaurants in Andalusia.

A large part of the historic district has gotten pedestrianised. You can wander peacefully through its narrow streets, stroll the elegant shopping street Marques De Larios or admire the beautiful, unfinished Renaissance cathedral, which is lovingly called "La Manquita", meaning in English, "The One-Armed Lady". You can also visit the famed Picasso and Carmen Thyssen museums. The old Moorish castles of Gibralfaro and the Alcazaba sit on top of the hill, overlooking the city for almost 1000 years. A nearby rooftop bar offers the best views.

Historic and modern times mix effortlessly.

There are many beautiful apartments located in 18th, 19th and 20th century buildings. Old city palaces are being renovated and transformed. The area has various bilingual colleges. It offers ample opportunities to live and/or invest.

The nearby train station offers a direct connection to the airport in 10 minutes. High Speed (AVE) trains connect the centre of Malaga with Seville, Cordoba and Madrid. Many new bike lanes have been implemented with a share-a-bike service in Malaga, which offer a green & cheerful way of transport around the rest of the city.
