Icod: Location and surroundings of this property

Icod de los Vinos is rich in water and fertile lands, its open plains were covered in sugar cane plantations as well as in vineyards, it is the home of the Millenarian Drago, one of Tenerife’s emblems and also of the Wind Cave (Cueva del Viento), the largest lava gallery in the world. Its exquisite white wines honour its name.
Today, its main economic activity is agriculture. It is notable for its bananas and vineyards as well as potatoes, cereals, vegetables and fruits. The services sector employs a great number of people and is another pillar of the economy, specially in construction. It has an intense commercial life.
Fishing is carried out in San Marcos Cove, where recreational activities are also offered in summertime.
