A true oasis in the bustling city of Las Palmas. Ciudad Jardín was established by British residents who ruled the economic life of the region at the end of the 19th century.
Ciudad Jardín is a residential neighbourhood located right in the centre of the city of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, between the neighbourhoods of Alcaravaneras and Arenales. It is a neighbourhood formed mainly by single-family houses with one or two floors, generally with gardens and with large green areas for recreation, such as Doramas Park and El Romano Park.
The general urbanisation of the neighbourhood is characterised by narrow streets, green areas and a lot of tranquillity. The beach of Las Alcaravaneras is only a few minutes walking distance and, little further we find the shopping area of Mesa y López.
