This municipality experienced a strong population increase in the mid-seventies with the establishment in residential areas of a large number of single-family residences. In the next few years, it will again experience a new large population increase as a result of the liberation of large areas of land that are already being urbanized today.
The main population centres of Boadilla del Monte, in addition to the old town, are the luxury urbanizations called Monteprincipe, Olivar de Mirabal, Boadilla Park, Bonanza and Las Lomas, known as historic urbanizations.
