The apartment is very colourful and bright and it has a WONDERFUL TERRACE OVER ROOF, with a superb 360º sight of all the city, from the cathedral to Sagrada Familia, all the way up to the different churches and palaces in the Born, as well as the Tibidabo and Montjuic. It is a real 5th floor WITHOUT ELEVATOR.

The apartment has 1 double bright and quiet bedroom, and a sunny living room and fully equipped kitchen.

There is a microwave, oven, electric coffee tier and Italian coffee maker machine, squeezer, hair dryer, washing machine, air conditioning and heating. There is no dryer, but there is a clothesline to hang clothes on the sunny terrace.

The apartment also comes equipped with fast speed WiFi (not shared with anyone else) and a DVD player.

Born-Ribera: Location and surroundings of this property

On the opposite side of Barcelona’s Gothic quarter, separated by Via Laietana, is the barrio of Born. Although it’s similar in many ways to its Gothic neighbour, it doesn’t draw the same number of tourists.

Since the 1980s, it has provided a focal point for the city's artistic scene and now boasts some of the highest property prices in the city – like many other parts of Barcelona it has moved on substantially from its down-at-heel roots to attain such desirability. Attractions in this area streets are everywhere – the opulent Modernism of the Palau de la Música, the post-modern Mercat de Santa Caterina, and the Gothic splendour of the basilica Santa Maria del Mar – are all within 10 minutes’ walk of each other. The area is also home to the acclaimed Picasso museum. Another advantage is being located right next to Parc de la Ciutadella, where you can get a break from the narrow streets of the old town. Born is right in the centre of Barcelona and as a result it provides a well-placed and characterful base from which to explore the rest of the city.
